The following is a recipe for chocolate mousse that is made with raw ingredients.

There are various health benefits to the ingredients used here and it leaves out a lot of typical ingredients that are unhealthy.

Not only is it super easy to make but you can ensure most will be able to consume this mousse as it is vegan.

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup – Pitted Medjool dates

1/4 Cup – Maple syrup

1/2 Teaspoon – Vanilla extract (optional)

3/4 Cup – Mashed avocados (1 and 1/2 avocados)

6 Tablespoons – Unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 Cup – Water or almond milk

Directions:

  1. Put dates, maple syrup and vanilla extract in food processer with S blade and process until smooth.
  2. Add avocados and cocoa powder and process until creamy.
  3. Add water or almond milk and process briefly.
  4. Serve chilled.

*This can be stored for 3 days in the refrigerator or 2 weeks in the freezer.
