With only 3 ingredients these brownies are super easy to make. They also are healthier than regular brownies despite the sugar present in the chocolate chips. I’m sure there’s sugar alternative chocolate chips out there if that holds you up. At the same time, I assume anyone who avoids sugar already knows about those kind of chocolate chips. 😀

With the busy holiday season upon us, this might be a great dessert you can make because it doesn’t take very long.  They are also gluten free and dairy free so they can please a wide crowd.

Ingredients:

1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 Cup mashed overripe banana

3 Tablespoons sifted oat flour

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line 8” x 4” loaf pan with parchment paper.

Add chocolate chips and mashed banana to large microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 15-30 second intervals, stirring in between until chocolate is melted and smooth.

Stir in oat flour and whisk until evenly incorporated. Do not pack the oat flour while measuring.  It should be a loose even level tablespoon.  Optional additional ingredients such as nuts or additional chocolate chips may be added.

Pour mixture in pan and bake for 30 minutes or until the surface of the brownies looks mostly cooked. Avoid cooking too long – the goal is to have these be very fudgy. Allow brownies to cool before cutting and serving.

Store uneaten brownies in fridge and reheat before serving.

Enjoy!
