This week I was speaking to a patient who moved here somewhat recently. They like it here, but all their doctors are located where the lived prior.

Tired of driving the distance, they asked if I knew of any primary care doctors in the area that I could recommend.

Other patients have asked for a primary care provider as well for various circumstances.

My answer is always the same – Dr. John Murphy.

He is my primary care provider. Everyone I have sent to him has been very pleased with him.

The reason I’m telling you this is in case you also need a primary care provider.

It’s important to establish one if you haven’t already.

The other reason for this email: Insurance covers 1 physical exam every year and I suggest taking advantage of this.

A simple check up could save your life. Less seriously, it could alert you of something that would require a minor lifestyle change.

When I was 30 years old, I had borderline high cholesterol, blood pressure, and triglycerides.

I took action immediately and implemented a workout plan along with a tweak to my diet.

Now I’m as healthy as a horse. Well, a healthy horse…

It’s fun to go to these appointments and compare your lab results to prior ones.

I don’t have any financial relationship with Dr. John Murphy; just a professional one. It would be against my ethics to send you anywhere I had financial incentive anyway. It’s also not my style.

You can click here to learn more about him.

I refer out of this office whenever further examination and/or treatment is required than I’m capable of.

Let me know if you need a provider of any sort and I’ll do my best to find you the best.
